Reduced Fares for Eligible Students

The MARC Student Saver Program gives you 50% off MARC one-way and monthly tickets, including:

  • One-Way Tickets: Perfect for individuals who don’t commute regularly.
  • Monthly Passes: A great value for daily commuters. Valid for unlimited travel for one calendar month (e.g., September 1–30).
  • 31-Day Passes: Flexible unlimited travel for 31 consecutive days from the date of activation. Available exclusively on the CharmPass mobile app.

Who Qualifies?

To participate, you must be actively enrolled in an eligible institution. Eligibility includes:

Student Category Description
High School Currently enrolled high school students.
Higher Ed Undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students at eligible colleges/universities.
Vocational Students in eligible vocational/trade schools or technical training programs.

Enrollment must be active at the time of registration. 

How To Register

You must be registered and approved before you can purchase discounted tickets. Approval is valid for one year, after which you must re-register with updated documentation.

Step 2: Provide Documentation

You will need to provide one of the following:

  1. A current, valid Student ID card

    OR
     
  2. An Official Enrollment Verification Letter from your school

Program Rules

  • This discount only applies to MARC Train service.
  • Tickets are for the registered student only and are non-transferable.
  • Students must re-register every year from the date of approval with current proof of enrollment.
  • MARC reserves the right to request additional ID or verification at any time.
  • Misuse of the program (sharing tickets or falsifying status) will result in revocation of eligibility and potential enforcement action.
