Winter service adjustments are the result of feedback from 10 public hearings in November 2017, and the comment period following the hearings. When making final decisions, all comments received were considered along with service analysis and updated ridership data.

  • Introducing New LocalLink 63 serving Downtown Baltimore, Hopkins Bayview, and Tradepoint Atlantic in Sparrows Point.
  • Discontinuing service on Express BusLink routes 102, 106, and 107.
  • Service Modifications, Enhancements, and Frequency Adjustments.

Some service changes proposed in November will not occur at this time.

New Route

LocalLink 63:
Tradepoint Atlantic to Johns Hopkins Bayview and Downtown Baltimore

LocalLink 63 will serve the growing job center at Tradepoint Atlantic in Sparrows Point including the FedEx Distribution Center and a new Under Armour facility. Two alternative branches were proposed in November 2017. Based on public comment and additional analysis, Alternative 1 was selected.

LocalLink 63 will operate between Tradepoint Atlantic and Johns Hopkins Bayview, with select trips to Downtown Baltimore, as follows

  • Northbound from Tradepoint Atlantic, operating on Peninsula Parkway to Dunmanway to Center Pl., to Dundalk Ave., then left onto Eastern Ave., turn right onto Bayview Blvd., right onto Mason Lord Dr., left onto Nathan Shock Dr., right onto Bioscience Dr., left onto East Lombard St., and left to layover on Bayview Blvd.
  • Southbound trips from Johns Hopkins Bayview will begin at the Bayview Blvd. layover, turn left onto Eastern Ave., then follow the same alignment in reverse to Tradepoint Atlantic.
  • Trips continuing to Downtown
    • Westbound service will travel the same route from Tradepoint Atlantic and exit the Bayview Campus turning right onto Eastern Ave., to Caroline St., to Lombard St., to Light St., to Conway St., and then turn right onto Charles St. to layover.
    • The return trip eastbound will travel from Charles St. to Pratt St., to Caroline St., to Eastern Ave., follow the same alignment in reverse to serve the Bayview Campus, and then onto Tradepoint Atlantic.

LocalLink 75: Patapsco to Arundel Mills/Parkway Center

  • Rerouted to operate via Aviation Boulevard onto Mathison Way to provide new service to the Midfield Cargo Complex, and then back onto Aviation Boulevard to Dorsey Rd. to Candlewood Rd. to Charwood Rd., then onto New Ridge Rd. to continue the regular route.

  • Rerouted service at University Parkway. Southbound service will continue on Roland Ave. and turn left onto 40th St. to serve the Rotunda Shopping Center and two senior living communities, then right onto University Parkway and continue via the regular route. Northbound service will operate the same route in reverse.
