In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID -19, PLEASE USE TRANSIT FOR ESSENTIAL TRAVEL ONLY. Essential travel means taking trips to work, hospitals, health care providers, pharmacies, grocery stores, banks, food distribution centers, and other similar destinations. By reducing unnecessary travel, transit becomes safer for those who depend on it, especially essential healthcare workers, and for those who operate it. MARC Train continues to operate on an R schedule on all three lines and Penn Line weekend service will operate as scheduled.

The ticket offices at Odenton and Frederick will be closed until further notice, but the waiting room and ticket machine will be accessible at Odenton. Ticket counter sales at Baltimore Penn, BWI, New Carrollton and Washington Union Stations can no longer accept cash, due to COVID-19 protocol and the safety of workers. For your convenience and safety, MARC TVM’s can accept cash at these locations. Please utilize machines to purchase MARC fare products before boarding the train. Tickets are also available on your mobile device using the MDOT MTA CharmPass. Go to the Google or Apple Store to download it - search for Charmpass (no space). Tickets are also available from MARC ticket vending machines throughout the MARC system, and many of those machines accept cash.
