On Sunday, October 13, 2019 between the hours of 5:00 A.M. and 12:00 Noon, the YMCA will host the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk of Baltimore. Ellerslie Avenue will be used to divert buses from 33rd Street, Loch Raven Boulevard and The Alameda until the race is over and the roads reopen.

Turn by turn, the walkers will:
Exit the YMCA
Right on 33rd Street
Right onto Ellerslie Avenue
Right onto 36th Street
Right onto Ednor Road
Left onto 35th Street
Right onto Hillen Road
Walk around Lake Montebello
Exit onto 33rd Street
Right onto Ednor Road
Re-enter the YMCA

The following streets will be blocked, or temporarily interrupted during the event:
Ellerslie Avenue from 33rd to 36th Streets. Expect a minor delay.
33rd Street from Ellerslie Avenue to Hillen Road, Westbound
36th Street from Ellerslie Avenue to Ednor Road, Eastbound
Loch Raven Boulevard from 33rd to 35th Streets, Northbound and Southbound
The Alameda from 33rd to 35th Streets, Northbound and Southbound

These street closures will necessitate the following temporary diversions:

Northbound: Via the regular route northbound on Kirk Avenue to Gorsuch Avenue, then:
Left on Gorsuch Avenue
Right on Ellerslie Avenue, expect a minor delay at the beginning of the walk at 33rd Street
Right on Argonne Drive
Left on Loch Raven Boulevard, then via the regular route.

Southbound: Via the regular route southbound on Loch Raven Boulevard to Argonne Drive, then:
Right on Argonne Drive
Left on Ellerslie Avenue, expect a minor delay at the beginning of the walk at 36th Street
Left on 33rd Street
Right on The Alameda, then via the regular route.


CityLink Silver to Morgan State University

Northbound: Via the regular route eastbound on 33rd Street to Ellerslie Avenue, then:
Left on Ellerslie Avenue, expect a minor delay at the beginning of the walk
Right on Argonne Drive
Left on Loch Raven Boulevard, then via the regular route.

Southbound: Via the regular route southbound on Loch Raven Boulevard to Argonne Drive, then:
Right on Argonne Drive
Left on Ellerslie Avenue to 36th Street, expect a minor delay at the beginning of the walk
Right on 33rd Street, then via the regular route.

Westbound: Via the regular route southbound on Harford Road to the The Alameda, then:
Straight on Harford Road
Right on Gorsuch Avenue
Right on Ellerslie Avenue
Left on 33rd Street, then via the regular route.

Passenger Stop Instructions:
Operators are instructed to board and alight passengers at established bus stops along the diversion route, except when approaching a left turn, where safe to do so.
