MARC Service this evening may be affected by severe weather passing through the area. A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for much of the MARC service area. High winds, downed trees, and flood conditions can cause significant delays to train service. MARC will closely monitor the weather situation this evening and work closely with our host railroads to minimize delays. Safety is the top priority of MARC, Amtrak, Bombardier and CSX Transportation and we will always take the safety course of action – even if it results in delays.
