Description:

Extreme high temperatures and heat indexes are forecasted for next week in the MARC Train service area. To provide contingencies in the event of an equipment failure in severe heat, Penn Line Train 642 (6:00pm departure from Union Station) will be cancelled each day next week. Passengers will be accommodated on Trains 440 and 544 (5:35pm and 6:27pm departures from Union Station), with Train 440 adding a stop at Martin Airport. Passengers traveling to Baltimore may consider Camden Line Train 856, which departs Union Station at 5:58pm. Penn Line tickets are always honored on the Camden Line.
