The MTA has several convenient options to travel to the Maryland State Fair at Timonium Fairgrounds. Riders can plan their trip at mta.maryland.gov. Follow us on social media @mtamaryland and on our website for the most up to date travel information. Real-time tracking of bus and train arrival information is available on Transit app.
MTA reminds riders that transit fare vending machines are cash only. To purchase transit fares with a credit or debit card, the agency encourages riders to download the free CharmPass mobile fare app at mta.maryland.gov/charmpass
Light Rail
Light Rail service to the State Fair will run on the following schedule Thursday August 22nd through Sunday September 8th
Monday through Friday: 5:00 am - midnight
Saturday: 6:00 am - midnight
Sunday and Labor Day September 2: 10:30 am – 8:30 pm
Local Bus
Local Bus 93 stops at the fairgrounds on Greenspring Drive near the Light rail stop.
Stop by and visit us at the MDOT booth located in the Exhibition Hall and enjoy the fair!
