CharmPass users are reminded that you must have the app open and ticket activated when boarding your train. Please do not wait until the conductors are passing through the train checking tickets. When directed by the conductor or other MARC representative, customers must tap the screen on their mobile device to demonstrate the security features of the app. If the customer's mobile device is not working – including a dead battery – or the customer refuses to tap the screen, the ticket is considered invalid and the customer must purchase a ticket from the conductor.
