Saturday April 13, 2019 at 8:30 am, the police department of the Maryland Department of Transportation’s Maryland Transit Administration will be conducting testing for its next class of entry-level recruits. The MTA Police will allow persons interested in a career in law enforcement to walk-in and take the test. Testing will be conducted at MTA Police Headquarters located at 4701 Mt. Hope Drive in Baltimore starting at 9 a.m. Interested candidates should allow roughly six hours to complete the written test, physical agility, oral interview, and a pre-background screening. Candidates are encouraged to wear athletic attire and to bring a valid I.D. To qualify, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, have at least a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver’s license, must be 21 prior to graduation from the police academy and must not have committed or been convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor.
