Mobility may begin reducing or narrowing service based on safety factors such as:

  • Roadway snow accumulation
  • Icing and freeze-thaw conditions
  • Access to sidewalks, ramps, and building entrances
  • Availability of safe door-to-door vehicle access
  • Road closures or emergency declarations
  • Facility closures (dialysis/medical centers, employment centers)

Service restoration is based on road conditions, facility access, and the ability to safely complete both outbound and return trips.

Due to worsening weather conditions and residential roadways becoming difficult and unsafe to navigate, Mobility service will be suspended for Sunday, January 25.  

The Mobility Reservation Call Center will be closed as well.

Riders needing transportation for urgent medical needs should call 911 for medical transport.

All riders that were dropped off on trips this morning will be picked up for their return trip.

The safety of our riders and employees is our top priority.

Mobility is expected to operate on a regular Sunday schedule. Service may be adjusted if road conditions deteriorate.

With the current snow forecast, MTA’s Mobility Certification and Reduced Fare offices will be closed on Monday, January 26. 
Appointments will be rescheduled.  The safety of employees and riders is our top priority. We appreciate our rider’s patience .
