The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) will operate the following schedule Monday, January 19, 2026 for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Schedule.

Local Bus:  Regular Weekday Schedule

Metro Subway:  Regular Weekday Schedule 

Light Rail:   Regular Weekday Schedule


MARC Train:  

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (January 19): R Schedule on all three lines
  • Penn Line Trains 455 (8:45pm departure from Penn Station) and 454 (10:05pm departure from Washington) will also operate.
  • Brunswick Line passengers should note that the R schedule consists of morning Trains 872, 892, 878 and 880 and afternoon Trains 875, 877, 893 and 881.
  • Frederick Transit will not operate on January 19, so there will be no connecting bus service from Point of Rocks to Monocacy and Frederick.

Commuter Bus:   No service except Commuter Bus #201, which will operate on the Weekend/Holiday  "S" Schedule.
                              Only trips with an S above them will operate.


Mobility Transportation Service:   
Regular Schedule Subscription trips will be honored.  However, to cancel a subscription trip for Monday, January 19th, call the Mobility Call Center at 410-764-8181.

Mobility Call Center:   Regular Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM for Future Rides

Mobility Certification Office & Customer Care Office:  Closed 
Reduced Fare Certification Office:  Closed

Transit Information Contact Center:  Closed
Mondawmin Customer Service Kiosk:  Closed

MTA Transit Store:   Closed
