The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) will operate on the following schedule on December 25, 2023 & January 1, 2024

LocalLink & CityLink Routes:

Sunday/Holiday Schedule on December 25th & January 1st.

Metro Subway: 
Sunday/Holiday Schedule on December 25th & January 1st:
On New Year's Eve, Metro Subway will operate one hour after the fireworks display.
Please make your way promptly to the platforms.

Light Rail:   
Sunday/Holiday Schedule on December 25th & January 1st.
On New Year's Eve, Light Rail will operate one hour after the fireworks display.
Please make your way promptly to the platforms.

MARC Train:

  • Up to and including December 22, full MARC service.
  • Saturday, December 23, Regularly scheduled Saturday Penn Line service.
  • Sunday, December 24, Regularly scheduled Sunday Penn Line service
  • Monday, December 25, No MARC Train service.
  • Tuesday-Friday, December 26-29, R schedule on all three lines, R+ on the Brunswick Line.
  • Saturday, December 30,  Regularly scheduled Saturday Penn Line service.
  • Sunday, December 31, Regularly scheduled Sunday Penn Line service
  • Monday, January 1, No MARC Train service.
  • Tuesday, January 2,  full MARC Service on all three lines.


Commuter Bus:

  • Friday, December 22, we will operate a modified early PM schedule.
  • Monday, December 25, No service except the #201 will operate the Weekend/Holiday schedule.
  • Friday, December 29, we will operate a modified early PM schedule.
  • Monday, January 1, No service except the #201 will operate the Weekend/Holiday schedule.

Mobility:

  • Sunday/Holiday Schedule on Dec.25th & Jan.1st.  No subscription trips on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
    If you would like to ride on Christmas or New Year’s, call the Mobility Call Center, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 410-764-8181 to schedule a ride.
  • The Certification Office on Patterson Avenue & Customer Care Office:  Closed Dec. 25th and Jan. 1st, 2024

Transit Information Contact Center & Mondawmin Customer Service Center Booth: 

  • On Monday, Dec. 25th, in observance of Christmas Day, the Transit Information Contact Center and the Mondawmin Customer Service Center Booth will be closed.  The Transit Information Contact Center will return to normal business hours on Tuesday, Dec. 26th, 2023.  The Mondawmin Customer Service Center Booth will reopen after the first of the year.
     

  • On Monday, Jan. 1st, in observance of New Year’s Day, the Transit Information Contact Center and the Mondawmin Customer Service Center Booth will be closed. The Transit Information Contact Center will return to normal business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.  Mondawmin Customer Service Center Booth will reopen after the first of the year.

MTA Transit Store: Closed on Dec. 25th, & Jan. 1st

Reduced Fare Certification Office: (6 St. Paul Street) Closed on Dec.25th, & Jan. 1st
