MARC Penn Line schedules will change on October 12 and November 15, 2026, due to the second phase of a major Amtrak trackwork project in New Jersey. This is resulting in significant modifications to Amtrak train schedules between Washington and New York. The changes to Amtrak schedules will require MARC Train to modify our schedules as follows:

  • Until October 9: Current schedule (March 16, 2026) is in effect.
  • October 12: Interim schedule takes effect.
  • November 13: Interim schedule ends.
  • November 16: Most (**but not all**) train schedules revert to the schedule.

Given the short effective date of the October 12 schedule, full Penn Line timetables will not be produced. Passengers can download a PDF copy of the new timetable here: Weekday / Weekend.  Limited copies of timetable grids will be available at stations.  A full list of the changes is below.  There are no changes to the weekend schedule.

The November 16 schedule change will be announced and distributed the first week of November.
