Platform repairs to the westbound platform have been completed and normal boarding procedures have resumed for trains operating to Washington.

Construction at Dorsey station continues and has shifted to the eastbound platform (trains to Baltimore). Passengers are required to use the temporary crosswalk near the middle of the platform to board eastbound trains. The permanent crosswalk has been made inaccessible and is out of service.

To ensure safety, passengers must be on the platform prior to the arrival of trains traveling to Baltimore. Passengers will not be permitted to board the train if they are not on the platform when the train arrives. We strongly encourage passengers to park your car, walk to the station building, and wait inside the station rather than waiting in your car.

Passengers please exercise extreme caution when crossing the tracks. While we understand that missing your train is frustrating, it is not worth the risk of stepping in front of an approaching train.

The temporary crosswalk is not accessible to passengers using wheelchairs or certain mobility assistance devices, as there will be a step down and step up to the temporary crosswalk. The Savage station is available for passengers who need such access.

We regret any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while this necessary work takes place.
