Washington Metrorail has notified MARC Train that the Union Station Metro station and other downtown Metrorail stations will be closed beginning Friday, January 15 at 5:00am. All MARC Trains on Friday will continue to arrive and depart Union Station as scheduled. MARC Train passengers who use Metrorail to reach their final destination should plan to transfer at New Carrollton (Penn Line), Greenbelt (Camden Line), or Rockville or Silver Spring (Brunswick Line). Passengers can also access Washington Metrorail using the New York Avenue/Florida Avenue/Gallaudet University station, which is about one mile north of Union Station on First Street, NE.
