Description:

Passengers are reminded that the Penn Line continues to operate on the R schedule with limited additional service, as outlined below.

Please remember that all riders using public transit are REQUIRED to wear face coverings to reduce the spread of COVID-19, including MARC Train, local bus, light rail, metro subway, commuter bus, and Mobility/paratransit service. This action supports Governor Hogan’s Executive Order number 20-04-15-01. MARC trains undergo daily disinfecting including high passenger touchpoint areas. Each train has at least one restroom with a sink and soap and water so that passengers can wash their hands. For additional information, please visit mta.maryland.gov/coronavirus

In addition to the trains with an R under the train number in the printed timetable, the following additional trains are operating:

Train 403 (am departure from Penn Station), Train 502 (am departure from Union Station, which is making all stops between Washington and Perryville), Train 453 (9:37pm departure from Penn Station and Train 452 (10:55pm departure from Union Station). Passengers should also note that Train 537 (2:35pm departure from Perryville/3:25pm departure from Penn Station) will only stop at BWI and New Carrollton after departing Penn Station.

The online timetable at www.mta.maryland.gov/schedule/timetable/marc-penn contains the current schedule, including the additional service outlined above.

Penn Line weekend service will be restored to its regular schedule starting Saturday, June 27 (not June 20 as sent in error earlier).
