Hours and Services Modified on Wednesday, July 4

BALTIMORE, MD (JULY 2, 2018) – With a wide variety of July 4th festivities planned in and around the city, the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) encourages everyone to leave their vehicles at home and take public transportation to all the fun and excitement. MDOT MTA provides riders with safe, reliable and affordable transportation so they can fully enjoy the holiday experience.

“By taking transit, customers can save on gas while avoiding traffic congestion and parking hassles,” said MDOT MTA Administrator Kevin Quinn. “We encourage bus riders to download and use the Transit app. Knowing when the bus will arrive will allow riders to better plan and manage their schedules and take the bus that is most convenient.”

The following modified schedule will be in effect on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

CityLink and LocalLink: Sunday/Holiday schedule.

Metro SubwayLink: Sunday/Holiday schedule.

Light RailLink: Sunday/Holiday schedule.
(Light RailLink will operate one hour after the fireworks display.)

MARC Train: Penn Line will operate on a Saturday schedule. There will be no service on July 4 on the Brunswick or Camden lines.

Commuter Bus: No service, except on Bus Route 201, which will operate on a Weekend/Holiday schedule.

MobilityLink: Holiday schedule.
All standing rides are cancelled. Customers must call the MobilityLink Call Center – which will be open on July 4 – at 410-764-8181 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to reschedule July 4 rides.
