Light RailLink service will be stopped Dec. 8-11 near Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport for track repairs, the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) announced.
The shutdown will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, and end at 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11. It will occur between the BWI Business District and BWI Airport stations while repairs are made to pedestrian grade crossing pads and tracks.
MDOT MTA will provide free shuttle bus service for passengers, who are urged to plan ahead when traveling on Light RailLink this weekend. A bus bridge will be provided between North Linthicum and BWI Marshall Airport. Passengers can board the bus bridge at North Linthicum, Linthicum, BWI Business Park and BWI stations.
